WWE 2K23 is now available! The highly anticipated wrestling game has different modes for players to enjoy, including MyRise: The Lock. This new story mode takes players on a journey to become the best wrestler in the world.

Story mode is a fundamental part of the WWE 2K franchise. Players get to learn more about the behind-the-scenes of the industry and live their dream of becoming a professional. MyRise: The Lock is one of two story modes available in WWE 2K23, and it follows the story of a male wrestler. The second version is MyRise: The Legacy, which follows a female protagonist.

How to play MyRise: The Lock?

The first step to playing MyRise: The Lock is to pick it in the menu. The game will prompt the character creation. Here, players can select the starting class for their character. Striker, Technician, Powerhouse, and High Flyer are the four class options. Players also get to pick their weight class.

The next step is picking the outfit. Players can pick from a list of pre-created ring attires. Players give the characters a name, a presentation name, and fake social media accounts for the character.

It is possible to customize the physical appearance of the character, ring attire, menu screen poses, crowd signs, and much more.

Once everything is set up, it’s time to get down to business. Players must complete an initial match against Sami Zayn, and from there, they can start building up their careers.

To get matches, players must interact with the characters that show up in the locker room. Social media in the game is important. Checking the DMs and interacting with other stars is another option to get matches.

Playing MyRise will unlock Mighty Molly, Jean-Paul Levesque, and Ezekiel as characters. Other unlockable contents are four arenas, BCW (High-School Gym), MyRise WarGames, WWE Live House Show, and Raw ’02.
