The Collector’s Cache for The International 2022 is finally here, and it’s no surprise that the Marci skin is a rare.

Valve has finally released The International 2022 Collectors Cache featuring hero skins voted into the game by the community. The collection includes 18 new sets for a variety of heroes along with four higher-rarity sets.

The ultra rare for the chest is unsurprisingly the space-themed Astral Origins set for Tiny, but fans will probably also be keen on the new sets for Chen, Dawnbreaker, and, of course, Marci. The chest will be available to all Dota 2 players from now until December 18, 2022.

The following heroes are included in The International 2022 Collector’s Cache:

  • Hoodwink
  • Riki
  • Snapfire
  • Chen
  • Clockwerk
  • Dawnbreaker
  • Spectre
  • Faceless Void
  • Ursa
  • Phoenix
  • Terrorblade
  • Undying
  • Monkey King
  • Witch Doctor
  • Marci (Rare)
  • Invoker (Rare)
  • Primal Beast (Very rare)
  • Tiny (Ultra rare)

Like most other Dota 2 cosmetics chests, The International 2022 Collector’s Cache features escalating odds where the chances of opening rare items increase after each opening. The odds reset when desired items are acquired, but build up towards a second open afterward.

As with previous caches, the skins in this collection are exclusive to this chest with no way to market or trade them. Players will only be able to gift them once after the sale ends on December 18.

While the ultra rare Tiny and very rare Primal Beast sets in The International 2022 Collector’s Cache are nice, most Dota 2 fans will probably be rolling for the new rare Marci skin.

The included set is a tasteful choice among the Marci sets submitted for the cache. Blue Horizons is a fairly tame set, trading Marci’s normal traveling gear for a butterfly-themed dress. In addition to finally giving Marci players options for skins, this set also sets the tone for future new Marci cosmetics. It seems Valve is firmly against putting a blindfold and cat ears on the versatile all-star.
