Even though Michael “shroud” Grzesiek used to be a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, he’s proven during his full-time Twitch career that he can master any first-person shooter.

Recently, shroud has decided to play Apex Legends again. He often plays the battle royale between trying out other new titles. According to Twitch Tracker, shroud played Apex Legends for about five hours on October 8, gaining quite a few viewers and followers during the broadcast.

During the October 8 stream, shroud was asked via chat if he enjoys coming back to grind Apex Legends. He immediately responded.

“Yeah, absolutely,” shroud said.

Not only was he having fun, but shroud declared that Apex Legends is “still the best battle royale.” And he said it was the best “by far” before taking down an enemy team with seemingly little effort.

Even though shroud expressed his appreciation for Apex Legends, he did bring up one issue he has with the game. According to shroud, the developers have been quite slow when it comes to updates and content drops.

“I don’t want to ruin their work or anything, but people expect updates faster, and they don’t deliver it that quickly. But Apex is still the best BR, regardless of their speed of content,” shroud noted.

shroud shows love for Apex Legends and LTM during stream

Later in the stream, shroud explained that one highlight of Apex Legends for him is the new Flashpoint LTM. This limited-time mode features healing areas instead of healing items. Legends can locate the zones to regain health and shields. At the same time, the circle never stops closing in.

During Apex Legend’s September Soiree, a new LTM appeared each week. The Aftermarket Collection event launched on October 6, introducing Flashpoint LTM. The update also came with extensive legend buffs and nerfs, weapon changes, Halloween skins, and bug fixes.

If Apex Legends continued to drop events like these, it seems like shroud would be even more excited to keep streaming Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale.
